Enquiries and bookings

Design-A-Drive Gold Coast collects information you provide when you contact us, send an enquiry or make a booking. This can include your name, email, phone number, preferred dates, party size, luggage, journey and pickup details, and special requests.

We use this information to respond to you and arrange and manage your requested service, including booking and payment communications.

Services that help us run the business

Squarespace hosts this website and its enquiry forms. Cal.com provides our online airport-booking service, and Stripe processes online payments. Booking details and payment status are used to administer your booking. Google tools and Cloudflare support our booking-reference administration.

Information needed for a booked balloon experience may also be handled by the balloon operator, such as guest numbers, contact and pickup details and passenger weights.

If you contact us by email, WhatsApp or WeChat, that service also handles the communication. Providers may process information outside Australia. Their privacy notices explain their own handling of information: Squarespace, Cal.com, Stripe, Google and Cloudflare.

Website technologies and statistics

Necessary cookies and similar technologies support website operation, security, booking, payment and remembering your privacy choices. Rejecting optional cookies and advertising measurement does not prevent you from enquiring or booking.

If you accept performance cookies, Squarespace can use analytics cookies to understand visits. Squarespace may still provide basic pageview statistics without analytics cookies. Our visitor activity log is disabled. Necessary booking and payment providers continue to process the information needed to deliver those services.

Optional Google advertising measurement

If you accept the Advertising category in Cookie settings, we use Google advertising measurement to understand which visits and enquiries come from our advertising. Google's tags can receive technical information such as the page visited, browser and device information, IP address and interaction events. Our Google advertising tags do not load before this choice or after you reject it. We do not enable personalised advertising through this choice.

With your permission, an advertising click reference (such as GCLID, GBRAID or WBRAID) can also be attached to your airport booking. If we report a confirmed paid booking to Google, that advertising record contains the click reference, booking ID, payment date and time, actual paid amount and currency. It does not include your name, email, phone number, pickup address or flight details.

Your choice, its date and the notice version can be recorded with the booking so we can check permission before using a booking for advertising measurement. Click references are only taken from the current booking-page URL after acceptance; we do not create a separate cross-page store of them.

Changing your choices

Use Cookie settings in the footer to review or withdraw optional cookies and advertising measurement for this browser. You can reject these and still book. Choose before starting a booking: changing choices refreshes the page and may clear unfinished booking details. You may need to choose again in another browser or after clearing browser storage.

Changing your browser choice does not automatically erase an earlier booking or information already sent. To withdraw permission for an earlier booking's advertising information, or ask us about information we hold, contact us below before a future advertising report.
